In Canada, it is against Federal law, to sell a dog as a PUREBRED, without being registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.  The dog/puppy must also be identified with either a tattoo or micro-chip BEFORE leaving the breeder's premises.

Au Canada, il est interdit par la loi Fédérale de vendre un chien comme étant PUR RACE, sans les papiers d’enregistrement du Club Canin Canadien. Le chien/chiot doit aussi être obligatoirement identifié par soit un tatouage ou micro puce AVANT de quitter l’éleveur.
